Thank you..

Presidents' Day for the much needed long weekend!!
Derek works so much, it was nice to just have him home for three days with nothing planned.
Friday he did have some private practice stuff till 8:30, but Saturday, Sunday & Monday he was all ours!
Saturday we spent almost the entire day getting Charlie.

A two hour drive there and two back + a pit stop at PetSmart made for a long exhausting day. We took both boys with us and they did great for being in the car all day. I did lose the mommy of the year award for forgetting blankie, but quickly made up for it by packing him raisins and a sucker :) needless to say, blankie got extra lovings when we got home.

Okay I lied I did forget on Sunday Derek had private practice for two hours. It's every Sunday 10:00-12:00 and I always forget about it. Maybe because I secretly wish it didn't take up weekend time.
anyways...we just hung out for the day, then headed over to my parents so they could meet Charlie. & I'm 99.9% sure they fell in love with the little fur ball.

Monday was finally a "warm" day (if you count 47 degrees warm. In this here parts when its been snowing for the past 20,000 days, that's what we call warm.) We definitely took advantage of it and headed off to the park!

Tuesday my first day with a 2 year old, 6 month old and 8 week old puppy. Owen and Jake were on their schedules and I made one up for Charlie to fit inside of the boys'. It was going great. I'd say the puppy is even 90% potty trained! Owen and I made a couple St. Patrick's Day crafts while Jake was taking his morning nap.

Then Jake threw me in for a loop. It was a throbbing headache & feeling like I was going to puke afternoon. To say I was ecstatic when Derek got home is an understatement.
Jake was very whiney during the night too. It wasn't till a scream fest at 5:20 this morning that we realized he is teething again! The top teeth are just coming through & from the sounds of it, its pretty dang painful. So I'm hoping to have my smiley, bouncy, baby boy back real soon & no more super off days!!!

here's to hoping the rest of the day & evening (darn you private practice!) go as planned!
